Parachute Jump

Skydive For the Bellarose Foundation

Skydiving for The Bellarose Foundation is a fantastic way to raise much needed money for our work, while experiencing the thrill of a lifetime in doing so. After fifteen fun filled minutes in the plane on the way to an altitude of 10,000ft, sometimes we go up to 13'000ft (higher than any other club in Ireland), safely attached to your professional instructor the door will open and the tandem master will shout "READY, SET, GO".

You will leave the aircraft with your heart thumping "Here goes!!!" The wind will start to rush in your ears as you accelerate to 'terminal velocity' at around 120mph; experience the thrill of freefall over the most stunning of sceneries on the way to 5,000ft when the tandem master will open the giant canopy.

The rushing will go from your ears and you can easily chat to your tandem master, who will be delighted to give you the opportunity to control and steer the canopy.

A soft landing, a smile on your face for days, and an experience that will stay with you for a life time and maybe even have you coming back soon for more.

On the day of the jump
On the day of the jump we recommend you check in at 9am as the jumps for the day are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Your training will take around 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Your assigned tandem master, who is qualified to the highest standards will brief you on all phases of your jump and ensure that you get most from the experience while taking every precaution to ensure your safety.

There is a weather station on the drop zone and they operate a safety first policy meaning there will be no jumping in conditions deemed unsuitable by the Chief Club Instruct
